# Danube Delta tours

> A website for Danube Delta boat tours: a page for every route, drone footage and prices, in Romanian and English.

Simplix

**Travel Delta Star** runs boat tours in the Danube Delta from Tulcea and Sulina. This is the site dedicated to the tours, one of the company's three websites. Three sites instead of one was a search engine optimisation choice, and the strategy has paid off over the years.

We have been working with the company for 10 years. Now we rebuilt the site from scratch, to modernise it and to meet the new requirements of AI-driven search. It has a dark, atmospheric design built around Delta photography and footage.

## What we built

- **A page for every tour.** It shows the route step by step, duration, departure point, what's included and prices, in Romanian and English.
- **Video that doesn't slow the page down.** The drone footage fades in from the cover image, plays only when visible and loops seamlessly. For people who prefer less motion, the image stays.
- **Booking one click away.** Bookings are taken by phone, and the dispatch desk can be called from any page, with the fixed call button on mobile.
- **Everything else visitors look for:** boat rental, sport fishing, the official tourist routes of the Biosphere Reserve, a photo and video gallery with a lightbox, an FAQ and customer reviews.
- **Old addresses kept.** All of the roughly 50 old URLs permanently redirect to the new pages.

In the final audit across all pages, Lighthouse mobile scored **100 for performance, accessibility and best practices**.

## How it connects to the other two sites

The tours live in a data file we designed specifically for them; [the company's main website](/en/projects/travel-delta-star/) uses it too, so a price or duration is changed in one place. For getting to the Delta, the site points to [the Tulcea – Sulina boat service](/en/projects/tulcea-sulina/).
