We respect the privacy of your data and process it in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Below you will find what data we collect, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have.

Who processes the data

What data we process and why

When you contact us. Through the contact form you send us your name, email address, message and, if you wish, your phone number, company and the service you are interested in. We use this data only to reply and, if you ask, to prepare a quote. We process the same data when you email or call us. The legal basis is the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

When you become a client. We process the data needed for the contract, for communication during the project and for invoicing. The legal basis is the performance of the contract (b) and legal obligations, such as tax obligations (c).

Website security. To stop automated messages, we temporarily keep the IP address the form was sent from, in cryptographic (hashed) form, only as long as needed to limit the number of messages. The server also keeps technical logs (IP address, page accessed, date and time, browser type) for security and for the website to work properly. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the website (f).

The website has no user accounts, does not use your data for advertising and does not make automated decisions about you.

Who we share the data with

We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with providers that help us operate and are bound to protect it: the website hosting provider (Hetzner, with servers in the European Union), the company email service (Zoho Mail, also with servers in the European Union) and, for clients, our accountants. We may share it with authorities only when the law requires us to.

How long we keep the data

We keep contact messages as long as needed to reply and for a possible collaboration, then we delete them. Contract and invoice data is kept as long as accounting and tax law requires. The server’s technical logs are deleted automatically after a short period.

How we protect the data

The website uses encrypted connections only (HTTPS), access to the server and the data is restricted, and the data is backed up. We apply the same security best practices we use for our clients’ projects.

Your rights

You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to correct it, to ask for it to be erased or restricted, to object to its processing and to receive it in a portable format. Write to us at any time at contact@simplix.ro; we reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP).

Children

Our website and services are aimed at companies and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from people under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the last update date shown above. The Romanian version prevails.
